Job Description

  • Review structural and architectural drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with local authority regulations such as Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and Nakheel.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and MEP teams to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment between design and site execution.
  • Provide on-site technical support to the construction team, ensuring civil works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for timely submission and approval by consultants and authorities.
  • Maintain proper technical documentation, track inspection requests, and follow up on authority approvals and consultant feedback.
  • Monitor project progress, provide technical input to planning teams, and identify potential risks or delays with appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with quality standards and codes such as BS, ACI, and ASTM, along with local authority guidelines.
  • Liaise with the QA/QC and HSE departments to maintain safety and quality standards at the site.
  • Suggest value engineering options by recommending alternative materials or design modifications to optimize cost, time, and quality.
  • Stay updated on local authority requirements and maintain strong communication with external stakeholders to facilitate approvals and inspections.
