Technical Business Analyst

The Technical Business Analyst serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications to drive effective solutions. This role involves analyzing processes, identifying system needs, and ensuring successful implementation of technology-driven initiatives. Operating in a dynamic UAE-based business environment, the Technical Business Analyst ensures all solutions comply with local regulations and industry best practices, delivering value across digital transformation projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders to understand project objectives and needs.
2. Translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams.
3. Conducting gap analyses and recommending technology solutions that align with business goals.
4. Collaborating with software developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of solutions.
5. Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, validating outcomes, and ensuring solutions meet business expectations.
6. Monitoring system performance, resolving issues, and identifying areas for improvement post-implementation.
7. Creating detailed documentation including process flows, technical diagrams, and system user guides.
8. Ensuring all IT projects adhere to UAE data protection laws, cybersecurity policies, and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
2. 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong technical background, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
3. Proficiency in business process modeling, requirement gathering tools, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
4. Familiarity with systems integration, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM).
5. Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
