Job description

As we don't have a legal entity in the UAE, this collaboration will be based on a service agreement between Fronius and the independent Technical Advisor.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Functional
  • Providing technical advice for customers, distributors, and dealers
  • Welding/technical software commissioning/system integration
  • Operating and programming robot control units Automation (mainly Cladding & Orbital)
  • Arranging technical training events for distributors, dealers, and end clients in the region
  • Welding / electrical / mechanical and software technical installation / commissioning / verification production support creating parameters of mechanized welding systems
  • Cooperation to generate sales and contracts in coordination with Representative
  • Providing support for complex system configurations
  • System integration on location
  • Interface between Representative and ESM TechSupport International & Automation
  • Mechanized welding using Fronius system controllers (standard components)
  • Being the first contact point for all service issues from PW from all countries in the Middle East in coordination with Fronius International
  • Responsible for after and presales activities of PW
  • Being involved in all presales discussions of the big projects for PW, the automation systems, and robotics
  • Responsible for all kinds of services regarding automation products and systems as well as robotic welding systems

You will report directly to the responsible Export Sales Manager for the region.

Skills & Requirements
Skills:
  • Understanding of welding processes and equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to welding equipment
  • Experience in B2B business, preferably in the welding or industrial equipment sector
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts
  • Presentation skills for demonstrations and client meetings
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to provide aftersales support and handle customer complaints effectively
  • Analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Understanding of cultural nuances in the Middle East
  • Certifications in welding technology or engineering (preferred)
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the welding industry
  • Electrical knowledge
  • Proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is a plus
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Middle East region
  • Valid residency status or ability to obtain a work visa for the UAE
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative
  • Valid driver's license
