The Role

As part of a trusted advisor pool, you'll have a direct impact in helping our OnRamp customers maximize value from cloud technology. You'll craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and utilization of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more.

Our Technical Account Managers partner with iconic businesses, from startups to large enterprises undergoing significant transformation. You will provide advice on architecture, support strategy, project and launch planning, and ongoing operational issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customers.
  • Ensure AWS environments are operationally healthy while reducing costs and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, tradeoffs, and risk management using your technical acumen and customer obsession.
  • Consult with partners from developers to C-suite executives.
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services, and Sales teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning.
  • Solve problems as customers migrate workloads to the cloud.
  • Enhance customer capabilities through workshops and sessions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of technical engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data, analytics, security, or application development in distributed systems.
  • Scripting and coding skills in Ruby, C/C++, C#, Java, Python, or PHP.
  • Experience in customer-facing business and technical presentations.
