Job description

At Amazon, our vision is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. In 2006, we launched Amazon Web Services (AWS), providing customers access to the same cloud technology we built to serve millions of shoppers on Amazon. AWS is a secure cloud services platform offering computing power, database storage, content delivery, and other functionalities to help businesses scale and grow. Millions of businesses use AWS cloud solutions to build sophisticated applications with increased flexibility, scalability, and reliability.

The Role

As part of a trusted advisory team, you'll have a direct impact on helping our OnRamp customers maximize value from cloud technology. You will craft and implement strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services, including products like EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CDN, IoT, and more.

Our Technical Account Managers partner with some of the most iconic businesses in the country, ranging from startups building their businesses from scratch to large enterprises undergoing significant transformation. You will provide advice on architecture, support strategy, project and launch planning, and ongoing operational issues.

  • Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customers.
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing costs and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management using your technical acumen and customer obsession.
  • Consult with a range of partners, from developers to C-suite executives.
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning.
  • Solve a variety of problems as customers migrate workloads to the cloud.
  • Enhance customer capabilities through workshops, brown bag sessions, etc.

As AWS continues to expand in EMEA, you'll have opportunities to develop your technical consulting and leadership skills, work with talented cloud technologists, and expand your AWS product knowledge. Mentorship and AWS certifications are also available to support your growth.
