What you will do

The Technical Maintenance Assistant will report directly to the Field Line Manager HVAC Aftermarket. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will support the Technical team in installing, servicing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems and equipment such as centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and heat exchangers.

How you will do it

You will focus on maintenance and repair tasks within specified timeframes and according to defined processes, service agreements, and customer needs. You will conduct planned site and customer visits, resolve customer requests and calls as dispatched, develop positive customer relationships, and provide proactive feedback. You will also document the status of customer equipment and systems and the work completed.

What we look for

Required

• Good product knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
• High school education plus a 2-year trade certificate in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Knowledge in servicing and maintaining cooling towers, pumps, and heat exchangers
• Technical expertise in HVAC systems, particularly chillers, brazing, vacuum, and pressure testing
• Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams of HVAC systems
• Ability to document work clearly and submit service reports promptly
• Compliance with environmental and industry regulations where applicable
• Additional activities and responsibilities may be defined on a case-by-case basis
• Fluent in English
