Job summary

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd seeks a Senior Backend Tech Lead with a strong Java and Spring Boot background to design and deliver scalable microservices for fintech platforms. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive API design (REST/OpenAPI) and enforce security standards (OAuth2/JWT) across complex systems.

The role requires 10+ years of backend experience and at least 3+ years in tech leadership, with a track record of delivering large digital-asset or fintech projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in backend software development, with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• At least 3+ years working as a Tech Lead
• Proven experience designing and delivering microservices architectures and distributed systems
• Deep understanding of REST API design, OpenAPI (Swagger), and API security (OAuth2, JWT)
• Track record of leading large-scale projects and cross-functional technical efforts
• Domain experience in digital assets (cryptocurrency, custody, exchange or trading platforms, tokenization, or blockchain-based financial services)
• Deep understanding of security, compliance, and data integrity requirements in fintech applications
• Comfortable with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring tools
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
