This role combines hands-on backend development with team leadership, technical governance, and delivery ownership. Responsibilities include mentoring developers, providing technical direction, and ensuring high-performance backend services.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of backend engineering experience, strong Java skills, and 2+ years of team leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years backend engineering experience with strong hands-on Java.
• 2+ years experience leading a technical team (7+ members) with delivery accountability.
• Java 17+ experience and modern backend development practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java backend developers; own day-to-day execution and delivery outcomes.
• Provide technical direction across backend services, integrations, and microservices architecture.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards.
