Tech Lead

Role Summary:

As a Tech Lead, you will be the main point of contact for the development team, responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of our platforms, including ERP, mobile apps, and web apps. You will play a critical role in analyzing our current system architecture, providing insightful recommendations, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining high performance and meeting deadlines.

This is a leadership role that combines system architecture expertise, project management, and a deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

System Architecture & Technical Oversight and Optimization:

• Analyze, understand, and optimize existing system architecture across all platforms (ERP, mobile, and web).
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to address architectural challenges and enhance system performance.
• Offer strategic guidance on technical approaches to meet project objectives effectively.
• Ensure system latency is minimized and overall platform performance is optimized.
• Provide expertise in front-end, back-end, and data analytics best practices to maintain system performance and user experience.
• Experience with CDNs, caching strategies, and database optimization techniques.

Development & Technical Leadership:

• Act as the main liaison between the development team and other stakeholders.
• Oversee front-end, back-end, and full-stack development, ensuring alignment with architectural and business goals.
• Implement performance benchmarks and KPIs, ensuring developers meet or exceed standards.
• Review project requirements and tasks, providing architectural recommendations and technical support.
• Guide developers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard.
• Review completed implementations, focusing on performance, latency, and scalability.

Project Management & Planning:

• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to prioritize tasks and optimize the product backlog.
• Estimate story points and plan sprints, ensuring efficient task allocation and team productivity.
• Manage project timelines and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in development workflows and processes.

AI Integration & Team Empowerment:

• Promote the use of AI tools to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
• Mentor and empower team members to adopt innovative technologies and approaches.

Communication & Problem Solving:

• Foster a collaborative and transparent communication environment within the team.
• Act as a proactive problem solver, addressing challenges with innovative and effective solutions.

Data Operations:

• Experience implementing data layers for analytics and ensuring clean, accurate data capture.
• Take ownership of the company’s data operations, ensuring a seamless flow of accurate, reliable, and well-maintained data across all systems.
• Oversee event tracking implementations, including building data layers and ensuring robust data collection without compromising system performance.
• Maintain a data-driven culture, continuously optimizing data processes to meet business and technical goals.
• Ensure no data is lost and that all tracking implementations align with system architecture and performance standards.
