Job description

ManTech is seeking a Tech Control Facility Technician II to support our contract with the United States (US) Central Command (CENTCOM).

Location:

ADAB, UAE

Work Hours:

60 hours per week, 16 hours x 6 days a week, on call

Requirements:

This role requires an active DoD Secret clearance.

About AFCENT:

Ninth Air Force (9AF) (Air Forces Central) (AFCENT) is the air component of CENTCOM, supporting combat-ready communications capabilities for forward deployed forces supporting DOD missions and operations.

General Responsibilities:

1. Provide TCF support, including installation, operation, and maintenance of TCFs.
2. Perform TCF tasks in accordance with SPIN-C, DISA Circular 310-70-1, and DISA policies and procedures.
3. Fabricate, troubleshoot, and repair interfaces on technical control equipment.
4. Provide operation and maintenance of primary and auxiliary equipment supporting TCF operations, including routers, switches, cryptographic equipment, converters, patch panels, modems, GPS systems, and testing equipment.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Education: High School diploma or GED.
2. DoD 8570.01-Manual IAT Category / Specialty: IAT-II.
3. Certification: CCNA.
4. Experience: At least 2 years installing communications circuits, solving complex problems, and activating new TCF circuits with specified equipment.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience working overseas.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work.
