ADNOC is seeking an experienced professional to plan, direct and supervise NGD network and CNG stations across Abu Dhabi Emirate and Sharjah. You will establish policies, manage procurement and supplier relationships, and lead health, safety and environment initiatives to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires 8-10 years in oil and gas with at least 5 years in a senior supervisory capacity, strong IT and leadership skills, and a working knowledge of English; Arabic is a plus and UAE

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-10 years oil and gas operations experience with 5+ years in senior supervisory role.
• Strong IT skills, leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Good knowledge of English; Arabic language is a plus; UAE driving license advantageous.

Job Purpose

To Plan, direct, co-ordinate and supervise the following major activities to ensure safe and efficient operations in CNG stations in Abu Dhabi Emirate and Sharjah as well as NG Network in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi. This includes assuming responsibility for the entire NG Network and the CNG stations network in the Emirates. To manage the development and establishment of policies and procedures for NGD activities and provide the NGD and management the data needed for effective and efficient execution and control of the NG network and CNG stations operations. To ensure that all performed activities under this role are in compliance with applicable HSE policies and procedures at all times.

Job Specific Accountabilities

. Plans, directs, co-ordinates and supervises the operation activities and assigned personnel.
. Performs management functions at the level established by Senior Management.
. Manages the development and establishment of policies and procedures for NGD activities and provide the NGD and management the data needed for effective and efficient execution and control of the NG network and CNG stations operations.
. Manages the operation of gas PRS, Steel, PE network and CNG station procedures and activities to the standards required by the Company.
. Manages the Gas Purchase Agreements (GSA) with the main gas suppliers including joint meter reading, GRN's and calibration of custody transfer equipment's.
. Acts as Authorizing Engineer for the PRS, Steel, PE and CNG station operation and maintenance related activities and participates in the development of non-routine live gas operation procedures and provide support during emergency response situations.
. Establish the NGD operation and maintenance Health, Safety and Environment Management processes.
. Remains fully conversant with all international developments in the field of Natural Gas, PRS, Steel, PE and CNG technology. Investigate, identify, and evaluate, benchmark and implements best practice in Natural Gas business.
. Evaluate potential contractor and suppliers and their services for the various NGD services as required.
. Participate in projects reviews like HAZOP, HSEIA, HAZID and Risk Assessments….etc as and when required.
. Review all operation and maintenance projects to ensure planning, organization and supervision, verify the completeness. Ensure that facilities delivered are safe, reliable in view of different natures, diversity of each system, equipment & facilities and the complexity of the technology involved.
. Controls, monitors and directs opportunities for training and development of employees under his direction (with emphasis on UAE Nationals) and assesses their progress. This includes on-the job training, counselling and competency based development.
. Performs other related or similar duties as assigned including technical reviews of modifications and changes to operations documentations/Manuals/Operation Procedures.
. Participates in Emergency and Incident Standby Rota.
. Attends and participates Project related meetings as required.
. Performs other related duties as assigned by his/her Manager.
. Ensures that the documents in his custody are maintained and updated as per Document Control Procedures.
. Supervise his team efficiently.

Internal Communications & Working Relationships

. Reports to the NG Operation and Maintenance Department Manager.
. Has regular contact with his counterparts in other Divisions on related matters.
. Has frequent contact with other employees in the Division.

External Communications & Working Relationships

. Has frequent contact with GASCO, SEWA , Dolphin Energy and other the gas suppliers.
. Has frequent contact with developers regarding the network in new developments.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelors in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

. 8-10 years operational experience in the Oil & Gas Industry of which 5 years in senior supervisory capacity, with good IT skills.
. Good working knowledge of Computers.
. Good Leadership and Interpersonal skills.
. High Problem solving and decision making ability.
. Effective planning and organization capabilities.
. Good knowledge of English language. Arabic language will be a positive advantage.
. Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
