About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the Housekeeping team in Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Monitor the cleanliness and room status of assigned blocks and public areas, ensuring standards are consistently met.
  • Supervise housekeeping attendants in executing routine and deep cleaning tasks across guest rooms, corridors, and service areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections and report or escalate damaged, missing, or unpleasant conditions for prompt resolution.
  • Oversee stock levels and proper usage of housekeeping trolleys, supplies, and equipment; ensure readiness for daily operations.
  • Ensure correct and safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment by the team.
  • Enforce adherence to Jumeirah’s safety, security, hygiene, and operational standards at all times. Support and guide team members, ensuring smooth communication, coordination, and task delegation.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Two years of experience in the same role in a 5-star luxury property.
  • Proficient in English, additional language is desirable.
  • Strong customer service orientation, speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Team player with adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity.
