About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leaderto join the Front Officeteam atJumeirah Zabeel Saray. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Oversee daily administrative tasks including printing and filing reports, managing room discrepancies, and preparing registration materials for smooth guest arrivals.
  • Supervise Guest Service Executives to ensure punctuality, proper grooming, and effective scheduling of breaks, while coordinating room assignments and special requests with relevant departments.
  • Maintain close communication with Guest Relations and Accounts teams regarding VIP allocations, billing concerns, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
  • Enforce financial controls by monitoring credit policies, auditing processes, cash float management, billing accuracy, and promoting upselling to maximize revenue.
  • Identify training needs, conduct appraisals, assist with onboarding and cross-training, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and grooming standards.
  • Act as a representative of the brand by supporting reception operations, handling special projects, and providing proactive feedback to improve guest satisfaction and team performance.

About You

  • The candidate should hold a Diploma or Degree in a hotel-related field and must have completed secondary school education.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel environment is required, with prior training experience considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, and knowledge of additional languages—particularly Arabic—is a plus.
  • The candidate must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows, Internet Explorer, MS Word, and familiarity with POS or PMS systems, especially Opera.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, along with a professional and guest-oriented attitude.
