Overview
At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious partner contracting for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and assign tasks to the MEP team (Electrical, AC, Plumbing).
- Plan and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, panels, lighting, HVAC systems, piping, and plumbing fixtures.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with electrical, mechanical, and safety standards.
- Monitor progress of site activities, manpower deployment, and material usage.
- Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and preventive maintenance of all MEP systems.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Production Coordinators, and suppliers to meet project timelines.
- Train and mentor technicians to improve skills, productivity, and work quality.
- Report daily work progress, resource requirements, and challenges to management.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and safety gear are maintained and available for use.
Knowledge & Experience
- Number of years of Experience: 5 to 8 years
Certification
- Education: Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical (HVAC)
Languages
Systems
- Basic Computer Knowledge, AUTO-CAD.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, HVAC units and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and execute MEP drawings and technical documentation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-discipline teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Awareness of health, safety, and quality standards.
Additional Info
- Flexibility to work on sites, extended hours, and under tight deadlines.
- GCC / UAE work experience preferred.
