Job summary

Azizi Developments seeks an experienced Lead Rebar Detailer to head a team producing precise shop drawings and BBS for reinforced concrete structures in Dubai. You will ensure timely delivery and adherence to design information and fabrication requirements, guiding engineers on complex detailing and constructability issues.

The role requires 5+ years in rebar detailing with team leadership experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and strong planning, documentation, and quality assurance skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in rebar detailing; leadership role preferred.
• Strong coordination and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign detailing work and monitor team productivity.
• Review shop drawings and BBS before submission.
• Guide detailers on complex reinforcement detailing and constructability issues.
• Track revisions, comments, approvals and resubmissions.
• Coordinate with the Rebar Detailing Coordinator and production team.
• Maintain quality and turnaround-time targets.
• Identify recurring errors and provide technical coaching.
• Ensure correct file naming, revision control and document management.

• Identify recurring errors and provide technical coaching
• Ensure correct file naming revision control and document management

Functional Pre-Requisites Skills: Production/technical knowledge; planning and coordination; problem solving; documentation and reporting; quality and HSE compliance; effective communication.

Behavioral Competencies: Leadership and Accountability

Educational Qualifications: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Age: Preferably 21-50 years, depending on role seniority.

Experience: 5+ years in rebar detailing with team leadership experience.
