Job summary

Juhayna Group is seeking a highly organized Central Maintenance professional to manage DC maintenance operations and facility projects across multiple sites in the UAE. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, timely repairs, vendor management, cost control, and ensuring reliable service delivery.

You will lead maintenance teams, coordinate with procurement, track invoices, and prepare monthly KPI reports for upper management, while maintaining asset uptime and safety standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical).
• 2–4 years of professional maintenance experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Proven experience in managing maintenance vendors and external suppliers.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide flexibility for emergency tasks outside standard hours.

Job Purpose

At Juhayna Group, we are seeking highly organized Central Maintenance to manage DC’s maintenance operations and facility projects, ensuring reliable service delivery, effective vendor management, cost efficiency, and workplace functionality. The role oversees preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, scheduling, and multi-site teams to minimize downtime, protect assets, and maintain operational excellence

What you will do in your role

• Oversee critical facility repairs, execute preventive maintenance schedules, and perform root-cause analysis for complex technical issues.
• Lead, mentor, and direct maintenance teams across multiple locations.
• Manage the service desk to ensure rapid ticket resolution, enforce service level agreements, and minimize operational downtime.
• Direct specialized contractors, evaluate vendor performance, enforce safety and quality standards, and deliver renovation projects on scope and budget.
• Partner with procurement to draft technical specifications, review quotes, manage service contracts.
• Process monthly invoices, monitor operational expenses against budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and assist in financial forecasting.
• Track asset maintenance histories and manage critical spare parts inventory to ensure immediate availability.
• Prepare monthly reports on key performance indicators, service metrics, vendor scores, and budget variances for upper management.

What you will bring to the role

• A university degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering a any related field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proven experience in managing maintenance vendors as well as external suppliers.
• A strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with internal departments and external visitors.
• Willingness to provide flexibility for emergency tasks or official visits outside of standard working hours.
