Team Leader Account Manager – Commercial Partnerships Vibes Events

Job Description:

We are seeking a Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of a team of 4 Account Managers while managing a select group of client accounts. This role is focused on ensuring the team provides high-quality client service, meets project deadlines, and delivers on client expectations. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for guiding the team, assisting with client requests, ensuring the timely preparation of quotes, and supporting the team with any challenges that arise during project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Account Management:
    • Manage a select group of client accounts, ensuring that all client inquiries and requests are handled efficiently and professionally.
    • Maintain strong, ongoing communication with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
    • Identify upselling opportunities and collaborate with Account Managers to provide additional services to clients.
    • Ensure that client projects are completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
  2. Team Supervision & Daily Support:
    • Supervise the day-to-day activities of 4 Account Managers, ensuring they follow internal processes and meet their daily targets.
    • Offer guidance and support to the team in handling client inquiries, quote preparation, and resolving any operational issues.
    • Provide day-to-day leadership in ensuring smooth communication, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.
    • Monitor the team’s performance and ensure consistent delivery of client expectations.
  3. Quote Preparation & Project Coordination:
    • Oversee the preparation of detailed and accurate quotes for clients, ensuring that deadlines are met and all client requirements are considered.
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are communicated clearly for smooth project execution.
    • Coordinate with the team to ensure client projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to agreed-upon specifications.
  4. Reporting & Administrative Oversight:
    • Support the team in maintaining accurate client records in CRM systems.
    • Ensure that invoices are accurate and sent to clients in a timely manner.
    • Assist with reporting on client account status and operational performance.
  5. Collaboration & Process Improvement:
    • Collaborate with other departments (operations, staffing, marketing) to ensure that client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.
    • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements to ensure greater team efficiency and client satisfaction.
    • Provide feedback and suggestions to the Commercial Partnerships Director on team performance and areas for operational improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Skills and Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or a client-facing role, with experience in a supervisory or team coordination position.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively support and guide a team.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in the UAE events industry is a plus.
• A proactive approach to resolving issues and ensuring high levels of service.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
