About The Opportunity
This position is responsible for leading all business development efforts within the Partner program in the CIS region, including developing and implementing business development strategies and activities for partnerships and key accounts. The role involves working closely with regional and global growth teams, product and engineering teams, and Business Intelligence teams, as well as leading a team of regional sales.
The successful candidate will proactively seek out and engage with potential CIS crypto partners, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), key accounts, and advanced traders to promote user acquisition, expansion, and the OKX platform and products in the region.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for revenue growth from trusted accounts and scaling business partnerships.
- Manage a team of affiliate business development managers focused on key markets, including setting strategies and KPIs.
- Identify and develop partnerships with affiliates, KOLs, and key accounts for future business opportunities.
- Oversee partnership acquisition and reactivation processes, including lead generation, prospecting, initial contact, meetings, contract negotiations, integration, and performance optimization.
- Build and nurture relationships with local trading accounts, projects, media, crypto influencers, and VIP accounts for user acquisition and revenue generation.
- Contribute to regional strategies aligned with company goals, and ensure objectives, targets, and action plans are achieved on time and within budget.
- Support negotiations of commercial terms with new and recurring partners, proposing new business models as needed.
- Support product and engineering teams in product development activities.
- Participate in regional marketing activities and business events; stay informed on industry, product, social trends, and customer insights.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and practices.
What We Look For In You
- Experience in sales within Cryptocurrency, Finance, FX, or related fields, with a proven track record in building large partnership networks.
- Experience in account management or front-end business and client development roles.
- Leadership experience, ideally managing revenue-generating teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of affiliate or partnership KPIs and optimization techniques through data analysis.
- Willingness to travel within CIS, MENA, SEA, or other regions as required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse international teams and external partners; experience in stakeholder management across different levels.
- Fluency in English and native Russian language skills are mandatory.
