Core Responsibilities:

  • Providing attentive care and supervision to support children's safety and holistic development—physical, emotional, and educational.
  • Supporting the teacher in preparing activities tailored to each child's individual needs.
  • Assisting with children's basic care routines, including toileting and mealtimes.
  • Participating in regular events such as open weekends, publicity activities, and children’s outings.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the playrooms and materials.
  • Welcoming and supporting new staff in integrating into the Nursery and serving as a positive role model.
  • Supervising meals and mealtimes, including preparing babies’ bottles when necessary.
  • Carrying out laundry duties as needed.
  • Attending staff meetings as scheduled by the Nursery.
  • Adhering to the Policies and Procedures of Emirates British Nursery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School Certificate or a certified vocational qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (Level II).
  • Proven experience in an early years or nursery setting, or working with children, is preferred. Experience from home country can be considered.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is a plus.
