Responsibilities
Main Duties
  • Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and work flexibly.
  • Communicate well at all levels.
  • Develop positive relationships within the school community.
  • Plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Liaise with colleagues and support staff to support student development.
  • Work with parents to ensure student happiness and academic success.
Specific Duties
  • Understand the curriculum thoroughly.
  • Organize classroom resources and create displays to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver sessions catering to diverse ability levels.
  • Motivate students with enthusiastic and imaginative teaching.
  • Observe and assess students in line with school assessments.
  • Reflect on and adapt teaching strategies and environment based on student progress.
  • Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists as needed.
  • Embed the Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes throughout the curriculum.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience
  • 1-2 years of teaching experience.
