Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Tunnel/Civil Inspector in Dubai to supervise TBM tunnel/gallery construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specs, quality standards, and safety rules. You will work with Resident Engineer and cross-functional teams to coordinate NATM works, temporary supports, and site documentation.

The role requires 4+ years in tunnel construction supervision, strong QA/QC knowledge, and fluent English communication. UAE/GCC experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 4 years in construction supervision of TBM tunnel/gallery operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising tunnel/gallery construction activities, including NATM and temporary works for interfaces.
• Monitor NATM excavation cycles and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Geotechnical and Engineering teams to assess ground conditions and implement temporary/permanent supports.
• Review ground conditions and monitor tunnel convergence, settlement, and stability.
• Ensure proper records, surveys, I&M data, and as-built documentation are produced and maintained.
• Lead technical and coordination meetings with contractors, design teams, and authorities.
