Client of Michael Page is seeking a Tax Risk and Compliance professional in Dubai to review tax calculations, ensure accuracy and drive improvements across tax processes. You will maintain the tax risk register, prepare senior-level reports, and coordinate with auditors and authorities to support compliance and governance.

The role emphasizes strong Excel, data analytics, and ERP experience, with Big 4 exposure preferred and professional qualifications advantageous.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, tax, audit, risk management or related field.
3 to 6 years of relevant tax, audit, accounting or risk experience.
Big 4 or international firm experience preferred.
Exposure to tax compliance, tax accounting, VAT, corporate or withholding tax.
Strong understanding of internal controls, reconciliations and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Experience with dashboards, reporting tools and ERP systems.
Professional qualifications advantageous (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CA).
Confident communicator able to challenge data and present findings.

Mansioni

Review tax calculations, tax returns, reconciliations and supporting docs for accuracy and compliance.
Perform independent control reviews across tax processes and identify improvements.
Maintain and update the group's tax risk register with mitigation plans and ownership.
Prepare risk summaries and management reports for senior finance leadership.
Coordinate information requests for external and internal auditors and tax authorities.
Monitor audit action points and ensure timely follow-up.
