Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENT:

Must be a qualified chartered Accountant with in-house tax experience, within a corporate or business environment.

SUMMARY:

The Taxation Manager will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all tax-related statutory requirements, including but not limited to corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and withholding tax. The role demands strong technical expertise in UAE and GCC tax regulations, with the ability to manage both direct and indirect tax functions. The ideal candidate will also lead advisory coordination, manage tax audits, and proactively monitor regulatory changes to align with business strategy and operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage the company’s direct and indirect tax compliance obligations across the GCC region.

· Provide strategic tax support to internal teams and stakeholders.

· Review and advise on VAT treatments and ensure timely VAT filings and compliance.

· Prepare, review, and finalize the Corporate Tax Return and Transfer Pricing Master & Local files.

· Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities on tax planning, audits, and transactions.

· Monitor changes in tax legislation and provide recommendations to management on impact and compliance strategies.

· Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of tax-related policies and procedures.

· Ensure timely and accurate submission of all statutory reports and returns.

· Partner with internal departments to ensure that business practices align with tax regulations and company policies.

EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in managing direct and indirect tax compliance, preferably in the GCC region.

· Hands-on experience in VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Withholding Tax compliance and advisory.

· Experience in dealing with tax audits and managing external consultants.

QUALIFICATION:

· Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
