Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive tax experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role within a multinational organization.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws across GCC and international tax frameworks.

Job description

The Tax Director is responsible for developing and executing tax strategies that ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations across all markets where the company operates. This role provides strategic leadership on all tax-related matters, including planning, risk management, transfer pricing, indirect taxes (VAT & Excise), and tax audits. The position also leads the relationship with external tax authorities and advisors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop and lead the implementation of tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations in all operating jurisdictions, including timely filings.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks proactively through regular assessments.
• Oversee and manage transfer pricing policies and documentation across all markets.
• Lead and develop a small team of tax professionals.
• Act as the key advisor to the CFO and business leaders on all tax matters.
• Lead and manage tax audits and resolve tax disputes with authorities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align tax practices.
• Ensure accurate tax reporting and disclosures in financial statements.

COMPETENCIES

QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or professional certification preferred : CPA, CTA, CA)
