The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting/Commerce and 2-3 years of relevant experience, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. This role involves preparing VAT returns, supporting audits, and maintaining accurate financial ledgers.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of work experience in accounting.
  • Knowledge of UAE tax laws is an advantage.
  • Ability to work additional hours/weekends as required.

The Primary role of Tax Accountant is to ensure compliance of various tax lawprovisions and accounting of input/output VAT, timely filing of monthly and annual tax returns. To support all functional activities in accounting and reporting function related to receivable & payable, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, and banking accounting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Timely preparation and filing of monthly VAT returns
  • Accounting, filing and compliance of corporate tax requirements including supportingcorporate tax and VAT audits
  • To ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the company financial ledgers.
  • To efficiently reconcile financial transactions and balances in the company records tosupporting documentation.
  • To maintain compliance with company policies in the area assigned, proactively seeking tosolve issues faced.
  • Balance Sheet account reconciliations and follow-ups
  • Timely accounting and reconciliation of inter-company transactions
  • Fixed Asset Capitalization and verification in coordination with operation team.
  • Inventory control initiatives including physical verification
  • To be an effective team player and contribute to the timely delivery of accurate accountinginformation.
Candidate Requirements
  • Must have graduated in Accounting/Commerce and display good relevant accounting knowledge with 2-3 years of work experience.
  • Prior experience in UAE tax laws will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of MS Office solutions (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with good communication skills-Verbal & Written
  • Must be reliable, dedicated and flexible to work additional hours/weekends as business requires.
  • Willing to accept additional assignments.
