Job Purpose:
The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for executing and enhancing programs across performance management, learning & development, and organization development. The role supports the alignment of talent strategies with business goals, drives a culture of continuous learning and performance, and supports key organizational development initiatives to improve employee capability and engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Performance Management
- Facilitate the annual performance management cycle, ensuring timely communication, system updates, and compliance across departments.
- Coach and support managers and employees on best practices for performance evaluation, feedback, and goal setting.
- Continuously enhance the performance management framework and tools based on feedback and business needs.
- Analyze performance data and generate insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Learning & Development
- Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with business leaders to identify capability gaps.
- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
- Support the delivery of the annual training plan, track participation, and measure effectiveness using key metrics (e.g., satisfaction, engagement, ROI).
- Recommend enhancements to learning programs based on evaluation results and business impact.
Talent & Organization Development
- Support the implementation of succession planning, talent reviews, and high-potential (HiPo) development programs.
- Contribute to organization development initiatives including job description design, organizational structuring, and competency framework development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across HR and the business to drive initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
General
- Produce regular talent dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI to support data-driven HR decisions.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
- Timely and effective execution of the annual performance management cycle
- Delivery of the annual training plan and tracking of outcomes
- Accuracy and quality of talent management analytics and reporting
Education Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–6 years of HR experience in the GCC, with a minimum of 2 years specializing in talent management
- Strong proficiency in HR data analysis and dashboard reporting using Excel; experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or other BI platforms is an advantage
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and experience using digital platforms for managing performance cycles
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment
