Job Description

The Position

Under the guidance of the Talent & Culture Manager and Director of Talent & Culture, lead recruitment activities for Raffles the Palm, ensuring adherence to best practices at all times.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead the recruitment process: sourcing resumes, conducting interviews, issuing contracts, communicating with applicants, updating applicant statuses, and documenting procedures.
  2. Ensure the onboarding process is completed for all new hires, including visa applications, ID cards, bank accounts, etc.
  3. Initiate processes for Medical, Emirate ID, and residence visas.
  4. Maintain up-to-date job descriptions, organizational charts, and forms.
  5. Ensure all new hire documents are properly filed (electronic & physical).
  6. Verify that all new employees sign the Code of Ethics and Human Rights Policy in line with Accor policies.
  7. Utilize various recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, external platforms, and agencies; manage annual contract renewals.
  8. Coordinate with the Accommodation Manager for room allocations and transportation for international arrivals.
  9. Conduct Talent & Culture induction sessions for new employees.
  10. Perform interviews and reference checks for levels 1-4 positions.
  11. Send weekly updates on arrivals to relevant departments.
  12. Maintain recruitment notices and vacancy boards.
  13. Deliver INES recruitment training to managers.
  14. Assist colleagues with daily HR inquiries.
  15. Coordinate monthly engagement activities and assist in organizing events.
  16. Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Talent & Culture leadership.

Occasional Responsibilities

  • Support creative poster campaigns and event organization by the T&C Department.
  • Help organize monthly team engagement activities.

General Responsibilities

  • Promote professionalism, confidence, courtesy, and social skills.
  • Foster good inter-departmental relations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance when representing the hotel.
  • Adhere to Raffles the Palm rules and regulations at all times.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar HR role within a 5-star hotel is preferred.
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Capacity to multitask efficiently.
