Job summary

Robot24.com is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to identify, approach and recruit exceptional talent for both our global freelance field teams and in-house roles across editorial, social media, content and growth. You will source candidates worldwide, leveraging networks beyond LinkedIn to build pipelines and deliver strong shortlists.

You will conduct efficient screening, master Boolean searches, and maintain an organized process to move fast in our high-velocity media

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience within the media industry is essential.
• Experience recruiting in digital media, news, publishing, journalism, social media, content or video production.
• Ability to identify sourcing channels beyond LinkedIn.
• Strong sourcing, assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to build international candidate networks.

Robot24.com is the global news platform dedicated exclusively to robotics news.

We don’t report robotics from a desk. We go directly to the source.

Our own global field teams film and report from manufacturers, companies and locations where robots are being developed, tested and deployed, as well as major robotics events around the world.

Robot24.com officially went live one week ago. Our core teams and infrastructure are already in place, and we are now rapidly expanding our global field network and in-house team.

The Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with previous experience in the media industry who can identify, approach and recruit exceptional talent — fast.

This is a highly hands-on recruitment role covering two areas:

1. Global Freelance Field Teams

You will identify and recruit:

• Freelance Videographers

across key cities and markets worldwide.

We are not looking for someone who simply posts vacancies and waits.

The right candidate might be on LinkedIn, Upwork, Instagram, within a local media community, on another freelance platform or somewhere completely different.

Part of your job is knowing where to find them.

You are expected to independently identify the most effective sourcing channels for each role and market and proactively approach suitable candidates.

2. In-House Recruitment

You will also recruit for our growing in-house team across positions including:

• Editorial & Journalism
• Social Media
• Content
• Growth
• Research
• Business & Operations
• Other specialist media roles

You will work directly with management to understand each position and translate highly specific requirements into targeted candidate searches.

What You Will Do

• Proactively headhunt candidates instead of relying solely on inbound applications
• Use LinkedIn Recruiter at an advanced level, including Boolean searches, filters, talent mapping and targeted outreach
• Independently identify the best sourcing channels for each position
• Source freelance journalists and videographers internationally
• Screen and evaluate 100+ CVs and profiles per day when required
• Quickly distinguish strong candidates from average ones
• Conduct efficient first-round screening interviews
• Build highly targeted candidate shortlists
• Manage multiple searches simultaneously
• Build pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-fill positions
• Maintain an organized recruitment process and candidate database
• Continuously improve sourcing speed and candidate quality

Who We Are Looking For

Previous recruitment experience within the media industry is essential.

Ideally, you have recruited within digital media, news, publishing, journalism, social media, content or video production.

You understand the profiles we hire.

You know the difference between a journalist and a content creator, a videographer and a video editor, and a social media manager and a growth specialist.

LinkedIn Recruiter should be second nature to you.

You should be able to receive a specific recruitment brief, immediately translate it into a sourcing strategy and start identifying relevant candidates.

But you should never be dependent on LinkedIn alone.

If the best candidates are on Instagram, Upwork, a specialist platform, within an industry community or somewhere else entirely, we expect you to figure that out and find them.

Speed Matters

Robot24.com operates in an extremely fast-paced environment.

We need someone who can process high volumes without sacrificing judgment or candidate quality.

Reviewing 100+ CVs or profiles in a day should not overwhelm you.

Managing several very different searches simultaneously should feel normal.

Priorities can change quickly, and you need to move just as quickly.

We are looking for someone who is:

What This Role Is NOT

This is not a traditional HR administration role.

It is not a position where you post a vacancy and wait for applications.
