Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the recreational and hospitality sectors. - Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires. - Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and job specifications. - Maintain and update a talent pipeline to ensure a continuous pool of high-quality candidates. - Utilize various sourcing methods such as social media, job boards, and networking to identify potential candidates. - Conduct candidate assessments and reference checks to ensure qualifications and compatibility. - Maintain recruitment metrics and prepare regular reports on hiring activities and outcomes. - Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional interaction. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and employment laws to ensure compliance and enhance recruitment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter, preferably within the hospitality or recreational industry. - Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and current hiring trends. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously. - Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and professional networking platforms like LinkedIn. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for finding the best talent.
