Job Title: Talent Acquisition Lead
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Lead to join our HR team and take ownership of end-to-end recruitment for a leading bank in the UAE. This is a critical role focused on attracting, engaging, and securing top talent to support the bank’s growth, transformation, and digitalization agenda. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services recruitment, a deep understanding of the UAE talent market, and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality hires at speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for mid-to-senior-level roles across the bank, including Retail, Corporate, Digital, Risk, Compliance, and Technology functions.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with the bank’s workforce planning and business goals.
- Build strong relationships with department heads and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and organizational culture.
- Leverage a range of sourcing strategies including headhunting, employee referrals, job boards, social media, and recruitment agencies to attract top-tier candidates.
- Enhance the employer brand by promoting the bank as an employer of choice within the UAE and regionally.
- Drive diversity and inclusion across hiring practices.
- Maintain accurate reporting and dashboards to track recruitment metrics, time-to-hire, pipeline health, and cost-per-hire.
- Oversee the onboarding process in collaboration with HR and line managers to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Manage and mentor a small team of recruiters (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, Central Bank regulations, and internal governance policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior advisory capacity.
- Prior experience recruiting within the banking or financial services sector in the GCC is essential.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
- Proven track record of hiring for specialized and niche roles, especially in Risk, Audit, Tech, and Compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and HR analytics tools.
