Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Tailor role based in Dubai. The Tailor will be responsible for measuring clients, performing fittings, and adjusting garments to ensure an excellent fit in line with brand standards. Daily tasks include tailoring and dressmaking for a variety of high-end fashion items, executing alterations, repairs, and custom adjustments with attention to detail and quality. The Tailor will collaborate closely with store teams to meet customer requests, maintain a clean and organized work area, and manage tailoring timelines to support store operations. The role also involves interacting with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice on garment fit and styling.

Qualifications

• Strong Tailoring and Dressmaking skills, with experience in altering and constructing garments for luxury fashion brands.
• Proficiency in Fitting, including taking accurate measurements and performing precise adjustments to achieve optimal garment fit.
• Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and store teams.
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity, with the ability to handle fine fabrics and complex designs.
• Previous experience as a Tailor in retail or fashion environments, preferably with premium or luxury brands.
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai and manage multiple orders while meeting deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of garment care, fabric types, and sewing machine maintenance.
