The Systems Assurance Manager for Light Rail is responsible for ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of all systems and subsystems within the framework. This role involves implementing quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working collaboratively with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement a comprehensive systems assurance strategy to ensure the reliability and safety of LRT systems, including signaling, communication, power supply, and vehicle operations.
• Establish performance metrics and benchmarks for evaluating system effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain the Quality Management System for the project.
• Formulate and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Plan quality, control quality, and ensure adherence to quality policies.
• Deploy quality personnel for : a) procured material, and b) execution quality control for daily operations.
• Interact with employer, engineer, and vendors on all quality-related matters.
• Conduct periodic internal quality audits.
• Obtain employer approval of project quality procedures.
• Address quality issues highlighted by the employer or client.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation, Safety Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Project Management Certification preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in systems assurance.
• Experience in quality assurance.
• Experience in O&M Metro / Tram environments.
• Safety management experience in the transportation industry, preferably in light rail.
• Professional certification in Quality Assurance.
• Regional work experience.
• Optional : Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 : 2015.
