A Cards Issuing Architect in the banking or fintech sector plays a pivotal role in designing and overseeing the architecture of card issuance platforms, including credit, debit, and prepaid cards. Domain & Business Knowledge

Banking & Fintech Acumen

• Understanding of digital banking, neobanks, and fintech trends.
• Knowledge of customer onboarding, KYC/AML, and risk scoring.
• Understanding of Frameworks (TOGAF) and working knowledge in Enterprise Architecture.

Product Lifecycle Understanding

• Experience in launching and scaling card products.
• Collaboration with product, compliance, and operations teams.

Technical Skills

Card Issuing Systems Expertise

• Deep understanding of card lifecycle management (issuance, activation, renewal, replacement).
• Familiarity with platforms like TSYS, FIS, First Data, or in-house systems.

Payment Network Knowledge
