System Analyst - School MIS & Data Management

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled System Analyst to join our IT team. You will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our School Management Information System (MIS) and Admissions Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This role will ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our core educational systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and development of our School MIS and Admissions CRM systems. You will have a strong functional background, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for educational technology. You will work closely with staff, vendors, and the IT development team to ensure that these systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with the school's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaboration & Improvement: Work with school teams to understand needs, provide solutions, and integrate technologies. Continuously seek system enhancements and stay updated on educational technology trends.
2. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve user issues quickly. Provide technical support and training to staff, minimizing disruptions to school operations.
3. Data Management: Ensure data accuracy, organization, and security, including student information, class registers, and assessments.
4. Integration & Development: Ensure seamless data flow between systems, collaborating with developers to resolve integration issues and implement new features. Test system upgrades before deployment.
5. System Maintenance and Support: Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the School MIS and Admissions CRM systems. Oversee proper implementation of system features like admissions tracking, timetabling, attendance, class allocations, and parent portals.
6. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive system documentation. Ensure compliance with data protection standards and implement security measures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role within an educational setting, with hands-on experience with school MIS and admissions systems.
• Technical skills in database management, SQL, and data analysis are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• A collaborative team player with a strong end-user service orientation.
