The role

Digital Zone is seeking an experienced Backend Developer or IT professional to join as a System Analyst. You will extend and enhance our business technology stack, integrating customer-facing applications with various systems, streamlining workflows, and driving technological innovations to support our growth.

Location

Candidates can be based in Baghdad, Iraq, or Dubai, UAE, and will enjoy a hybrid work model combining remote and on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Workflow and process automation: Identify issues in current internal processes and develop solutions using appropriate technology and tools.
• Systems Integration: Develop seamless integration of customer-facing applications with systems like financial platforms and search solutions to enhance interoperability and customer experience.
• Business Tech Stack Enhancement: Lead initiatives to improve our technology stack by collaborating with stakeholders and implementing innovative solutions.
• Vendor Collaboration & Feature Management: Partner with system vendors and third-party providers to extend and optimize system features aligned with our business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with frameworks such as Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, Golang, or Laravel.
• 1+ years of experience with integration tools like Zapier, Pipedream, n8n.
• 1+ years of experience with BPMN software such as Camunda or Joget.
• Advanced experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Proficiency with Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL, Debian).
• Experience designing systems using cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience working with multicultural, multilingual, distributed teams.
• Experience in product development, project management, and planning.

Bonus Points

• 2+ years of experience developing ERP software such as Odoo or ERPNext.
• Understanding of accounting concepts and standards.
