Main Responsibilities

• SQL Server Cluster Management: Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server Always On Availability Groups for high availability and disaster recovery;
• Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance and resource management;
• Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery drills;
• SQL Server Administration: Manage and maintain SQL Server instances, including installation, configuration, and patching;
• Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Server-related issues, including connectivity, performance, and security;
• Implement and enforce SQL Server security best practices;
• Hyper-V Administration: Manage and maintain Hyper-V virtualized environments, including VM creation, configuration, and migration;
• Monitor and optimize Hyper-V host and guest performance. Troubleshoot and resolve Hyper-V-related issues;
• Linux System Administration: Administer Linux servers (Oracle Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu), including installation, configuration, and maintenance;
• Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve Linux-related issues, including performance, security, and connectivity;
• Citrix Administration (Plus): Manage and maintain Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops;
• Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix-related issues, including user access, performance, and connectivity;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT solutions that meet business requirements;
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users;
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Profile we are looking for

• Academic qualifications in the areas of information technology;
• Professional experience equal to or greater than 3 years in SysAdmin;
• Speak English Fluently;
• Knowledge with SQL Server and SQL Always On;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and resilience skills;
