Job Description

• Design and implement innovative swimming pool systems, ensuring they adhere to local codes and regulations.
• Conduct detailed assessments of existing pool structures, identifying areas for improvement or repair.
• Oversee the installation of filtration, heating, and sanitation systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate pool designs into broader construction projects.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on pool equipment and systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
• Prepare cost estimates and project timelines for pool construction and renovation projects.
• Stay updated on the latest industry technologies and trends to enhance pool design and functionality.
• Provide technical support and training for pool maintenance staff and end-users.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to swimming pool operations.
• Document project progress and maintenance activities, creating comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, ensuring a strong technical foundation.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in pool maintenance and safety.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in swimming pool engineering or related roles, showcasing a proven track record.
• Experience in the construction industry, particularly in residential and commercial pool projects, is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional language proficiency can be an asset in diverse work environments.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, water chemistry, and pool equipment, enabling effective system design and troubleshooting.
• Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset, able to anticipate issues and implement effective solutions.
• Physical ability to perform on-site inspections and work in various outdoor conditions related to pool installations.
