KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Generic Accountability :

• Support the business in developing and implementing strategies to grow the Islamic corporate and investment banking division, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding the division’s market share.
• Oversee the execution of financial transactions that comply with Islamic principles, including sharia-compliant financing, investment, and risk management techniques.
• Manage the financial performance of the division, including setting targets, monitoring progress, and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Lead and manage a team of professionals jointly with the department head, including setting performance goals, providing mentorship, and supporting employee performance evaluations.

Job Specific Accountabilities :

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and other financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to Islamic finance.
• Share responsibility in achieving the division’s financial targets.
