About our client

We are representing an exceptional opportunity with a leading investment office in Dubai that is looking for a Senior Vice President to join the management team and play a critical leadership role in the growth of the business function. The role will support senior management in the oversight of group-level financial and portfolio reporting, portfolio performance analytics, and risk controls across private and public investment strategies. This role will drive process improvement, enhance data analytics, and support cross-functional collaboration to ensure the best performance framework. The role will manage an in-house team and be responsible for relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires full relocation to Dubai.

What the job involves
  1. Lead the overall analysis and reporting of investment performance and risk across private and public portfolios.
  2. Lead consolidated group financial reporting and continuous improvement of internal financial controls and procedures.
  3. Standardize reporting methodologies across the group while ensuring best practice in performance analytics globally.
  4. Incorporate capital market expectations into portfolio allocation and NAV growth scenario modelling.
  5. Responsible for performance analytics across private and public investments, highlighting key analysis of risk exposures and investment trends.
  6. Monitor exposure to market, liquidity, and concentration risks, ensuring a proactive approach to internal risk mitigation.
  7. Collaborate with the data team and external vendors to develop and enhance dashboarding tools and data visualization.
  8. Oversee the audit process and manage relationships with key service providers.
  9. Lead financial planning and analysis for the group, including budget reviews and forecasting.
  10. Oversee capital planning, optimizing cash flow through robust modelling and procedures.
  11. Improve data integration from different business functions.
  12. Support tax compliance by providing required group financial information.
  13. Lead and mentor the team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  14. Collaborate closely with other business functions to drive a cohesive performance reporting strategy.
  15. Lead initiatives that improve efficiency and drive strategic decision-making across the business.
Who we are looking for
  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a quantitative discipline.
  2. Qualified Accountant.
  3. Strong knowledge of both private and public markets operational processes.
  4. Proficiency in performance analytics and financial reporting within investment management or financial services.
  5. Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams across different business areas.
  6. Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  7. Track record of improving efficiency, automation, and strategic reporting in investment performance management.
  8. Strong communication and presentation skills.
  9. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with hands-on execution.
  10. Additional qualifications, MBA, or further degrees are beneficial.
