What You Will Do:

  • Prepare sushi and specialty items according to recipe and presentation standards

  • Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sushi station throughout the shift

  • Assist in opening and closing procedures of the kitchen

  • Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards in line with HACCP requirements

  • Support team as directed by the Head Sushi Chef

  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service team for smooth operations

  • Monitor ingredient inventory and report stock needs in a timely manner

  • Maintain high personal grooming and cleanliness standards

  • Participate in departmental briefings and cross-training when necessary

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sushi preparation within fine dining or luxury hotel settings

  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of traditional and contemporary sushi techniques

  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency in taste and presentation

  • Familiarity with food safety protocols and kitchen best practices

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Passion for Japanese cuisine and continuous improvement
