Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain your workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
Prepare ingredients (e.g., chopping, peeling, slicing) and cook dishes using proper tools.
Follow the mise en place checklist and maintain open communication with section leaders.
Rotate across various kitchen sections over time to build broader culinary knowledge.
Strictly follow recipes and instructions given by Chef de Partie or Demi Chef.
Minimize food and resource wastage through careful handling and awareness.
Support with inventory receiving and organized storage of products.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
Assist colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Label food items daily and adhere to storage protocols.
Uphold personal grooming and hygiene as per company standards.
Follow food safety procedures and kitchen cleanliness schedule.
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
12 years of kitchen experience (Japanese cuisine preferred but not required).
Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and food prep techniques.
Willingness to learn and work across different kitchen sections.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.
Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
