Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and creativity.
- Ensure food presentation and quality meet restaurant standards.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers for fresh ingredients.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to enhance the dining experience.
- Stay updated on Japanese culinary trends and techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in reputable Japanese restaurants in Dubai.
- Must be currently residing in Dubai.
- Strong knife skills and expertise in sushi and sashimi preparation.
- Good command of English.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity in menu development and plating.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in food quality.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
