Job summary

Casa Tera in Dubai is seeking a surveyor to perform topographic boundary and construction surveys using total stations, GPS, and optical levels. You will establish and verify project controls and reference coordinates, and set out positions for foundations, columns, walls, roads and utilities.

You will also produce as-built drawings, monitor movement, and coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to keep survey data accurate and compliant with health, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in topographic boundary and construction surveys using total stations, GPS and optical levels.
• Ability to establish project control points, benchmarks and reference coordinates.
• Set out positions, levels and alignment for excavation foundations, columns, walls, roads and utilities.
• Check accuracy of all setting-out works before and during construction.
• Perform as-built surveys and prepare as-built drawings for completed works.
• Monitor settlement, structural movement and deformation where required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure survey data is accurate and up to date.
• Prepare survey reports, field notes and coordinate schedules.
• Verify dimensions, elevations and locations against approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Assist in quantity verification and progress measurement when required.
