About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Specialist - IT to join Jumeirah Al Qasr.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:



  • Manage incidents and service requests from staff and guests across all hotel areas, ensuring quick resolution or escalation. Maintain accurate case records for knowledge sharing and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and develop solutions or workarounds to restore services promptly.
  • Deploy and configure PCs, laptops, and user accounts following IT standards, and manage software deployments.
  • Provide technical support for hotel IT systems, including iPads, iPods, digital signage, Micros (F&B), OperaPMS (Front Office), Wi-Fi, RMS, and event AV setups.
  • Control IT store inventory, issue equipment, and provide emergency technical support outside normal hours.
  • Handle guest queries and complaints professionally, report issues to IT Lead, and follow all relevant policies and procedures.




About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware / software concepts.
  • Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity, and ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences.
