Role Title: Support Engineer-Veritas (NetBackup administration and support)

Role Type: Long Term, Permanent, Full Time, On-Site

Industry: Consultative Solutions Provider

Work Location: Dubai (Dubai Internet City), UAE

Required Certifications:

• Veritas Sales Engineer
• Veritas Sales Engineer +

Requirements:

Demonstrated ability and experience in customer-facing positions as a Professional Services consultant.

Strong documentation and technical writing skills.

Must be able to install, configure, troubleshoot and administer backup and archival solutions based upon the following technologies:

• NetBackup
• NetWorker
• Backup Exec
• Avamar
• Data Domain
• NetBackup Appliance
• Enterprise Vault
• SourceOne

Additional industry certifications from vendors like HP, Veeam, Cisco and Microsoft are an advantage.

Key experience: Veritas NetBackup administration and support.

Preferred: Data Domain, Enterprise Vault, Avamar, NetWorker.

Tape Library support.

Dell Avamar and Networker (data protection suite) administration and support.

Experience: 3-10 years.

Installation experience for any of the above products is a positive.

Full clean driving license.

Experience working in the Gulf region.
