The Supply Chain Planner plays a critical role in optimizing supply chain operations by ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. This role involves forecasting demand, planning inventory, coordinating procurement and production, and mitigating supply chain disruptions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset to support cost-effective, timely, and reliable delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain supply and demand forecasts using historical data and market trends.
Create and update production and inventory plans to meet customer demand.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock across warehouses.
Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams.
Identify and address supply chain risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
Track supplier performance and delivery schedules.
Analyze supply chain metrics and generate performance reports.
Implement planning tools and ERP systems for better accuracy and control.
Support new product launches and promotions through effective planning.
Recommend process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 3 5 years of experience in supply chain planning or operations.
Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage change.
Familiarity with demand planning, MRP, and inventory optimization.
APICS or similar certification is a plus.
Understanding of international supply chain and logistics principles.
