We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager for an Automotive Group. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to delivery. This role requires effective leadership and collaboration across departments to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management practices, data analysis, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs. Other duties and responsibilities would include but not limited to :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, risks, and opportunities to continuously improve supply chain processes.
- Manage demand forecasting and production planning to ensure product availability.
- Supplier Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to achieve the best terms.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions and risks.
- Procurement : Oversee sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Develop procurement strategies that support sustainability and quality standards.
- Ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory compliance in all procurement activities.
- Logistics & Inventory Management : Oversee the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Optimize logistics operations to reduce lead times and transportation costs.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and reducing excess inventory.
- Data Analysis & Reporting : Utilize data analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, delivery times, and inventory turnover.
- Prepare reports for senior management on supply chain performance, cost savings, and opportunities for improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with the production, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment on supply chain activities.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve issues and streamline operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with other departments.
- Leadership & Team Development : Manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Ensure the team is well-trained in the latest supply chain tools, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Compliance : Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with legal, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in global trade regulations, tariffs, and shipping laws.
