Supply Chain Manager

Our client is a market leader who combines industry knowledge, manufacturing expertise, and technological innovation to offer a broad portfolio of products and services to their customers across a wide range of industries.

They are looking to take on a Supply Chain Manager who will serve as the regional leader for supply chain management and improvement. He is responsible for managing and leading all aspects of Supply Chain in a fast paced, customer focused, distribution environment. The position will also be responsible for planning and effectively executing all activities associated with procurement, supplier management, inventory control, in bound freight, and scheduling.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Provide direction, guidance, and leadership to the supply chain network related to associates, service, inventories, demand and supply planning.
2. Responsible for the planning of all procurement, supplier management, inventory control, in bound freight logistics and scheduling activities.
3. Develop annual purchase plans and Supply Chain Initiatives. Responsible for successful execution to Supply Chain plans, and Initiatives.
4. Develop and implement supplier strategies that improve supplier quality and reduce lead times, material costs, and inventory levels.
5. Develop, foster, and maintain relationships with supplier partners.
6. Responsible for understanding and following current procedures and policies related to supply chain.
7. Responsible for creating/improving supply chain procedures and ensuring department/cross functional department compliance.
8. Maintain key performance indicators and report monthly.
9. Develop a relationship and work closely with the Sales & Marketing group to create a demand planning process.
10. Review existing scheduling process and lead a team to improve.
11. Establish and promote a work environment amongst co-workers and direct reports that is focused on the customer.

You should have the following experience / skills:

1. At least 5 years of work experience.
2. An Engineering degree is preferable.
3. Arabic language is essential.
4. Good Communication skills.
5. Result oriented.
6. Troubleshooting and problem solving approach.
