Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Conduct scoping and feasibility reviews for mechanical systems, including piping, rotating equipment, burners, and boilers.
• Review and evaluate mechanical designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards for hazardous waste incineration plants, such as API and ASME codes.
• Provide technical expertise during design reviews, offering recommendations for optimization and improvement.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate mechanical systems with other project components, ensuring seamless operation.
• Supervise construction activities, including installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct periodic site inspections, coordinate with contractors, and resolve issues during construction.
• Participate in project meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on scoping, design review, and construction supervision.
• Experience in brownfield projects and industrial processes.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and standards.
• Familiarity with codes and standards for hazardous waste incineration plants.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional engineering license preferred.
