Job description

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate sales and demand forecasts. As well as coordinating & communicating with multiple teams to develop monthly & weekly consensus sales forecasts, along with incorporating historical sales seasonality & trends.

DESCRIPTION:

Performance Management:

  • Ensure optimal product flow within the locations and saturation of bottlenecks
  • Follow-up the 2nd degree product sales at the outlet
  • Act as a bridging role between sales and manufacturing to manage priorities and changes in the plan in order to optimize service level and costs
  • Review unusual demand flags for appropriate action
  • Compute safety stock and reorder points for the stock program
  • Update and publish lead times
  • Order outsourced products as needed
  • Maintain a proper balance of inventory throughout the manufacturing and distribution network

Analysis:

  • Plan timely finished goods in order to comply with the assigned stock-level policies designed
  • Develop sales and operations plans for the assigned area of responsibility in order to optimize cost and service level
  • Analyze sales of stock products to create an effective ABC classification and establish root causes for slow-moving inventory
  • Review customer service metrics and investigate root causes
  • Establish priorities for production and requests to expedite

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree of Engineering or any relevant field

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience and knowledge of sales work frame & trends or demand planning.
